Last week I came across an appliance company that has quickly become a favorite of mine; Smeg. The reason? They offer refrigerators (and a few other things) in an unusually wide range of colors! And I’m not just talking about the milky pastels that we all know from the 1950s. I’m talking bright and bold colors. At their UK website you’ll notice they even have some patterns, including the Union Jack flag and a funky rainbow stripe! One step closer to my dream of floral-printed toasters….

After viewing several runway collections for Resort 2012 I am noticing a trend that makes me very happy: print mixing! It appears that prints are so popular that many designers are piling them on, creating some very interesting and bold results. Here are a few of my favorites. Wallflowers need not apply.
This past weekend many of my D.C. friends participated in the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure event, raising money for a very good cause. So I thought it only fitting to start this week off with a little pink.
