As a pattern designer, even my plants seem to sport awesome prints. I’ve become a little addicted to gardening lately and wanted to share these photos so you could see why. Exotic looking succulents have become my favorite because they’re amazingly gorgeous and so easy to maintain. I’m especially partial to the pink ones. I even threw in a picture of our grapes, for good measure. They’re turning from green to red, I can’t wait to eat them in a few weeks!

In the spirit of the day, here are a few images tracking the springtime progress of our little rooftop garden. I love using my macro lens to explore all of the tiny, colorful details that each plant has tucked away. This is the first time our grapevine has ever flowered, we’re really hoping to get some juicy grapes later this year! I can take no credit, though, my husband has the only green thumbs in this household. He does the gardening, I just take the pictures.
